Laserfiche 8 is Not Your Father’s Laserfiche
As a part of the analyst, consultant, and expert integrator community, you may run into clients with old installs of Laserfiche. While we’ve always striven to provide simple and elegant document management solutions, the software has naturally progressed over the years. At this point, it’s safe to say that we’ve come a long way since versions 7 and earlier and after 23 years of Laserfiche software, there are no two ways about it: Laserfiche 8 is not your father’s Laserfiche.
Announced in January 2008, Laserfiche 8 expanded our capture and data processing capabilities as well as the workflow engine in order to seamlessly integrate content with business processes. Two years later, it’s the new standard– from the Certified Professionals Program to classes at Empower 2011, the focus is Laserfiche 8 all the way.
