The City of Riverside, CA, has been named the winner of the 2012 Intelligent Community of the Year Award by the Intelligent Community Forum!

A finalist for the award in 2011, Riverside won the title this year for the city’s use of innovative IT advancements, such as technology incubation, IT recycling and fiber networking, to improve public services and  make the city an attractive residence for technology companies.

Steve Reneker, Riverside’s CIO, says that Laserfiche ECM  provides a strong foundation for the city’s forward-thinking IT projects. Reneker delivered the keynote address at the 2008 Laserfiche Institute Conference, saying, “Laserfiche has helped us maximize the value of our other technology investments. By improving information access, we deliver better public service citywide.”
