Overview

DocuNav QuickLink® enables one-click retrieval integration from third-party applications to corresponding documents or folders in Laserfiche. With a simple click on the floating toolbar, residing on top of the third-party application, QuickLink automatically extracts data from the application and opens Laserfiche to retrieve all documents correlated to the search fields. Each user’s most common searches can be configured in QuickLink, allowing them "Quick Search" retrieval capability without an embedded or custom integration.

DocuNav QuickLink is a valuable add-on for users who spend much of their time working in an existing third-party application, such as an ERP or HR package. QuickLink eliminates the labor-intensive task these users typically experience, continuously having to minimize their third-party application then opening Laserfiche to perform a search for a needed record. QuickLink enables these users substantial time savings, allowing them to perform a search while inside the third-party application by simply clicking a button. Laserfiche is automatically launched and the user is placed directly on the search results screen and provided the single corresponding document, a listing of multiple documents, or a complete folder. “Find invoice/purchase order, medical record, employee record, student record, and customer account are all good examples of common QuickLink searches.

In addition to time saving searching and increased accessibility of records, DocuNav QuickLink also dramatically reduces user retrieval training. Once the QuickLink toolbar has been configured, a user doesn’t need to know how to do anything more then click the button to select their search. New hire staff can be trained instantly on how to retrieve records.
