RouteLynx is an excellent solution for customers who need to route documents throughout their organization, but aren’t yet ready to implement a rules-based workflow solution. Similar to the native Laserfiche ability to route documents ad-hoc via email, RouteLynx allows users to select a recipient, add comments, and route a document. What differs RouteLynx from email, is that the document never leaves the security of the Laserfiche environment. So audit trails, access control and security are maintained as documents are routed from one individual to another.

UtilitEase DataLink links or validates Laserfiche with external databases. The user maps Laserfiche documents with outside databases in order to import associated metadata or validate Laserfiche metadata with data from a database. This is achieved by identifying a key variable that exists in both a Laserfiche document and the outside database. A wizard helps the user to easily designate an appropriate key variable and design jobs that achieve the desired end.

The Volume Recovery Tool is a disaster recovery utility designed for the situation where you have your image files, but you do not have the metadata, for whatever reason. Windows will not sort the native Laserfiche files correctly, due to the naming system used. The Volume Recovery Tool solves this problem by renaming the laserfiche files in a manner that puts them back into their original sequence.
