DESCRIPTION

This is a generic file importer that accepts multiple index file types for importing into Laserfiche. In addition to the image files for import, this application requires a corresponding CSV, TAB Delimited and/or XML files for indexing the associated images. The application accepts a single master file that will index all documents within a given folder as well as multiple files(one for each associated index). The application provides a facility to map the incoming files to a specific folder as well as providing a field mapping interface where fields within the file are mapped to the fields contained within a specific Laserfiche template. We have utilized this application in multiple scenarios in converting legacy document management systems to Laserfiche(e.g. Alchemy) as these systems have the ability to export images and an associated index file. Additionally we have used this application to archive documents from other Business Process Systems such as Adobe Livecycle ES.
