DESCRIPTION

BOLT Bridge™ allows users to scan directly into Laserfiche™ from Visioneer/Xerox One Touch 4.0™ document scanners and KeyScan™ keyboard scanners. The BOLT Bridge software utilizes an available full user license from the Laserfiche license pool. It is not necessary that the Laserfiche full user client software be installed on the scanning station except where the full-page OCR feature is desired.

BOLT Bridge supports Laserfiche user login, security and document capture features including routing to folders, document naming, selecting pre-defined templates, and populating index fields. Laserfiche repository conventions for indexing such as required fields, drop down lists, data types, and field masking are supported in BOLT Bridge which functions by providing a direct link between the scanner software and the Laserfiche server/repository. A document profile feature further automates scanning by allowing pre-defined profiles to be stored and then selected during the scanning process.

(Bolt Bridge utilizes available full user client licenses from the license pool. It does not require that the full user client software be installed on the station that Bolt Bridge and the scanner are running on unless use of the full page OCR option is desired.)
