DESCRIPTION
Host Express provides a simple command line interface a host application can execute to become image enabled with Laserfiche. Also, it provides OLE automation and COM interfaces. Key functions include administration, retrieval of documents, scanning, importing and testing. The Administer provides point and click configuration forms to build profiles by selecting a template, volume and mapped fields. You can retrieve documents through a display that lists the Laserfiche entries based on an associated record in the host application. The Scan function launches the Laserfiche Scan interface to capture documents associated with the current host record. The Import function launches a dialog box allowing users to import documents associated with the current host screen. The Test function allows the host application to verify if documents exist in Laserfiche.
