Hi Pat -

Our healthcare portal on our main site, www.laserfiche.com, has a lot of information on how Laserfiche can help medical facilities operate more efficiently. Please visit http://www.laserfiche.com/problemwesolve/healthcare.html.

Laserfiche does not replace EMR applications, but it does add document management capabilities to practice management and EMR applications. For instance, even when you implement an EMR application, you still must deal with paper patient files or information received in paper format, such as lab results. With Laserfiche, you can scan and store these documents so they are easily retrievable - even from within an EMR application. And if you don't yet have an EMR application, Laserfiche is a great first step!

I've passed your contact information along to our Pacific West account manager, who will be in touch with you. But I encourage you to sign up for a Webinar at www.laserfiche.com/webinar to view an online demonstration of the many ways Laserfiche can help medical groups and facilities work more efficiently.

Good luck!

How can I get more information on the use of Laserfiche in medical facilities. We have been using
the system to store our old records, but was not aware it had EMR capabilities.

In reading your article, it seems as of tje LaserFiche can be used to solve the need of medical records being readily transferred to Bermuda Hospitals Board new Urgent Care Center.

Please provide me with more technical informaiton and procedures, plus a price of the software, equipment, and the amount of space required by IT to house such a program.
