Luminary Lantern Launches
January 20th, 2009 Comment on this articleHere at Laserfiche, we know that our users are our most valuable resource. Your creative and innovative solutions to increasing efficiency constantly inspire us. And your willingness to share your knowledge with other members of the Laserfiche community is what truly sets our community apart.
At last year’s Laserfiche Institute Conference, CEO Nien-Ling Wacker identified a key component of our success to the enthusiasm of Laserfiche users. “When I go to conferences, I’m always pleased with the number of users who bring colleagues to our booth, so that they can learn more about Laserfiche and how it can help them,” she said. She also called on attendees to become Laserfiche Luminaries, who “help the community become even stronger, by sharing their success stories and explaining the real-world benefits that Laserfiche can bring to any organization.”
We’ve spent the last year building the Laserfiche Luminary program, and at the 2009 Laserfiche Institute Conference, we were proud to unveil the Luminary Lantern, an online network for the Luminary Community. The Lantern features profiles of our most enthusiastic, proactive and outspoken users, many of whom you might recognize from past conferences, case studies and UserNews articles.
Laserfiche Luminaries receive a Luminary Welcome Kit, which includes a Luminary polo shirt, pin and pen, and, best of all, a buy one get one free coupon for the Laserfiche Institute Conference or Regional Training. As a Luminary, you can choose your own level of participation, from contributing to the Luminaries blog, participating in a case study or UserNews article, speaking at industry conferences, starting your own user group or simply just sharing the good news about Laserfiche with friends and colleagues.
We encourage all of our users to apply to become Luminaries and create their own profiles on the Luminary Lantern, so others can learn about the benefits of belonging to the Laserfiche Community. “Luminaries can really help people move forward,” Nien-Ling said in her keynote at this year’s conference. “By working together, we can not only spread the word about Laserfiche and help everyone work more productively, but we can also create an even stronger worldwide community, which ultimately benefits everyone.”
