Record Series Creation Utility for Laserfiche 8 is Now Available
February 10th, 2009 Comment on this articleThe Records Management Automated Creation Utility for Laserfiche 8 is now available for download from the Support Site. This version of the utility uses lfso8 and works with only Laserfiche 8 repositories. You must use the old version with Laserfiche 7 repositories.
Besides working with Laserfiche 8 repositories, there are several other changes:
- Can now populate the extended location contact information added for Laserfiche 8.
- The ‘Permanent Record’ column has been moved from the Retention Schedule to the Record Series worksheet to match Server 8.
- Now connects to Excel directly through .net interfaces.
- Now can access .xlsx (Excel 2007) format workbooks.
- Installation now relies on being installed to a machine already containing the Lf 8 Client installation.
