Get Involved in the 2010 Conference
June 16th, 2009 Comment on this articleIt’s never too early to start planning for the 2010 Laserfiche Institute Conference, January 11-13, 2010 at the LAX Hilton in Los Angeles, CA. But in this era of tightening budgets, you may wonder how to afford a trip to the Conference. You know the value of the Conference—but what do you do when the money just isn’t there?
We have some options this year if you’d like to attend the Conference but don’t have the budget dollars.
- Apply for the Run Smarter Awards. Run Smarter Award Winners receive conference registration, hotel accommodations for three nights, and are invited to teach an Industry Solutions class so they can share their award-winning solution with other conference attendees. Run Smarter Awards are given in Government, Financial Services, Healthcare, Commercial and Education categories. Entries close July 31.
- Teach an Industry Solutions Class. This year, we’re accepting proposals from our users who wish to teach Industry Solutions courses. Past courses have been taught by Laserfiche Luminaries including Margaret Anderson of Collin County, TX, Mary Jane McCluskey of York County, PA, Rosalind Collins of Charlottesville, VA, Daniel Baker of Lynwood, CA, J.C. Abusaid of Halbert Hargrove Investment Counsel, Chris Fiorucci of BC Biomedical, and Bob Hensz of Texas A&M University. It’s one of the best ways to share your insights with the Laserfiche community. Facilitators receive conference registration and hotel accommodations for three nights. Submissions close July 31. (And don’t forget: you can double your chances by applying for both the Run Smarter Awards and to teach an Industry Solutions class.)
- Apply to Become a Laserfiche Luminary. Laserfiche Luminaries, among other goodies, receive a 2-for-1 registration coupon for the Conference – so you can bring a colleague with you. (And if you share a hotel room, you’ll double your savings!)
