Laserfiche Launches Certified Professional Program
November 17th, 2009 Comment on this articleIn response to growing demand from our global user community, we’ve launched the Laserfiche Certified Professional Program, which is designed to provide a convenient and affordable way for you and your colleagues to increase your content management expertise and advance your careers. Building on our long tradition of providing solutions that are easy to deploy, easy to administer and easy to use, the program gives you an easy way to extend your knowledge of Laserfiche, with both online and in-person training options.
The new Certified Professional Program is comprised of two tracks: one for engineers, and one for general users. The Technical Track consists of three Laserfiche Engineer certifications: Laserfiche Administrator I; Laserfiche Administrator II; and Laserfiche Integrator. The User track consists of three Laserfiche Specialist certifications: Capture; Records Management; and Business Process Management.
Certification classes will be offered online, at the annual Laserfiche Institute Conference and regional workshops, and at authorized Laserfiche training centers. Online classes will consist of a number of 5- to 15-minute online training videos, along with supporting exercises and quizzes.
Once you have completed the coursework required for a specific certification, you can take the multiple-choice certification exam. Testing will be administered on an ongoing basis for a $100 fee. If you do not pass an exam on your first try, there will be no charge to re-take the test.
Certification training will formally commence at our 2010 conference in January, where there will also be an overview session outlining next steps for participation.
