Plus 8.1 Released
November 17th, 2009 Comment on this articleLaserfiche is pleased to announce the release of Laserfiche Plus 8.1 in Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish and Vietnamese. This release supports Laserfiche 8.0.2 and later. Plus 8.1 includes performance enhancements and new features that provide more options for how to publish and which components of documents are available in the Viewer.
Laserfiche Plus 8.1 enhancements include:
- Viewer updates based on the recently released Laserfiche 8.1.1 Client and 8.1.1 Server.
- Faster and more compact publishing: Briefcases export without compression and are streamed directly into the destination repository.
- Command line interface: Ability to automate publishing, create multiple passwords and publish more than one briefcase at a time.
- Custom publishing options: Ability to exclude field values, tags, image pages, text pages or electronic documents from the published repository, or to specify that no documents can be printed or exported.
- E-mail notifications: Option to send an automated e-mail when publishing is complete.
- Enhanced encryption support: Publisher password strength indicator and random password generator.
