Are you interested in joining a User Group for your area, industry, or profession? If so, you can visit the Laserfiche Support Site and post about yourself in the User Groups Forum. By posting who you are, what you do and where you’re located, you’ll be able to connect with other like-minded users. There are benefits available for everyone, regardless of your skill level and interest level.

“There’s a lot of expertise in the room when you get 60 people together,” says the City of Norfolk’s Alondo McClees, who co-chairs the Hampton Roads, VA, User Group and recently presented “How to Grow Your Own User Group Network” at the 2010 Laserfiche Institute Conference. “It can actually be very humbling. I think, ‘Wow, we’ve really done a lot [using Laserfiche] in four years and there are people here who rolled it out last week. The efficiencies back then apply even more now.”

Adds Patrick Sanchez, Business System Support Analyst for the City of San Bernardino, CA, Water Department, “I’ve been going to different workshops for about four years and I get as much out of four or five hours of a Laserfiche meeting than I do from a couple of days at other kinds of seminars.”

So whether you seek information to enhance your own skills, want to share your expertise or just want to tell the world how much you love Laserfiche, visit the Support Site User Group Forum today and get started with a User Group!

We are relatively new to Laserfiche. We just went live with our scanning in December, 2009. We are on the Rio Enterprise system and are using Quickfields. We would like to connect with others in the Phoenix area and start learning more about Laserfiche. How can I find a user group close to Phoenix?

  2. Sarah Kellison Says:

Carrie: Thank you for your interest in joining a Laserfiche User Group. We do not currently have a Phoenix-based group, so I encourage you to visit the Support Site’s User Group Forum. We have established that forum as the central location for all interested users, and we are actively monitoring it so that we can offer our assistance in connecting users. When you log in to the User Groups forum, post where you’re located and your industry/department so you can connect with people on a geographic and/or functional basis.
