• Profile Disabling Option: Disable specific profiles instead of stopping the entire Import Agent service.
• Tag Comments: Specify a comment for assigned tags.
• Create Multiple Text Pages: Configure Import Agent to create a new text page after a specific number of lines.

This month, Laserfiche renewed its DoD 5015.2-STD Ver. 3 records management certification. With our software’s expanded functionality, Laserfiche now has more certified components than any other vendor.

We’ve also extended our certification beyond electronic records management to include physical records management through integration with technology provided by Infolinx, a Laserfiche Professional Developer Program partner. The integration brings physical records management features such as barcode and RFID tracking, space management, inventory reconciliation and online requesting and transferring of records to Laserfiche. This month, Laserfiche won a Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) “Pick” award for Outstanding Enterprise Document Management. The “Pick” awards give special recognition to the hardware and software products that provide the most outstanding performances in BLI’s exhaustive lab tests.

Laserfiche 8.1 earned BLI’s highest possible rating: 5 stars overall. It also earned top marks in 9 of the 11 categories BLI evaluated. “We were especially impressed with the platform’s feature set, security, ease of use and value,” noted BLI Assignments Editor George Mikolay.

“Yella” is Arabic for “Come on, let’s go!”—and that’s exactly the attitude last month’s Third Annual Laserfiche International Conference inspired in the 150 attendees from Europe, Africa, Asia and the Pacific Region who were eager to learn how they could maximize the value of Laserfiche to their organizations.

The Laserfiche International Conference returned for the second year in a row to Beirut, Lebanon, co-hosted by Laserfiche and Middle East and North Africa Laserfiche distributor BMB sal. It offered four tracks personalized to the needs of users, administrators, developers and resellers with hands-on labs and product overviews covering every aspect of Rio enterprise content management and Avante business process management. “Last year, we had just two tracks, so doubling the tracks this year made a huge difference. All the attendees were impressed,” says BMB Sales Manager Roula Chehab. “There was a chance to learn more as they got divided into smaller groups. Attendees also liked how diverse the demonstrations and topics covered in the labs and lectures were.”
