Scanner Certification and Review
Fujitsu 4010C Scanner
Review:
This is the other scanner that is currently in use in the Laserfiche VAR Training Laboratory. The 4010C, having a larger form factor than the 4120C (the more well-liked scanner in the training labs by attendees) offers the same reliable performance and image quality as its other larger, production level counterparts. The larger form factor makes this scanner a little less appealing than other scanners with a smaller footprint, but nonetheless, organizations that lack the budget or space for production-level scanners, all of which of course have a much larger form factor, will appreciate this scanner. With a modest budget, crowded office space, and need for good performance exist, the 4010C can meet that need. The 25-page document feeder and flatbed speak highly of this scanner’s versatility when dealing with a variety of documents sizes and thicknesses.
This feature allows the operator to leave the scanner set in Duplex mode and automatically delete blank pages. The large volume document feeder is quiet and quick. VRS technology included with the scanner lets the scanner operator process large batches of documents without changing the settings. Our post certification inspection found no excessive wear to any moving or necessary parts such rollers or lamps.
