The Centers for Epidemiology and Animal Health (CEAH) is a division of the US Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service division. Based in Fort Collins, CO, CEAH is looked to for its innovation and teamwork in helping the United States agricultural community deal with tough animal health issues.
Situation
CEAH staff draw on enormous amounts of information from all over the world in order to develop current analyses of agricultural conditions and trends. They were looking for a way to efficiently manage all this information, with the long-term goal of eliminating paper and filing cabinets.
Solution
CEAH has published more than 30,000 reports, articles, analyses and related mathematical models on international agricultural trade to a password-protected intranet site, using Laserfiche WebLink.
