Scanner Certification and Review
Canon DR-1210C Scanner
Review:
Our reviewers found the Canon DR-1210C 600-dpi scanner to be easy-to-use with many convenient features. The most-liked features included the OneTouch buttons on the front of the scanner, which allows you to copy directly to a printer via the computer, to save the scanned images to a specified folder and to attach the images in a new e-mail message. There are also five Selectable Job buttons, each of which can be assigned with a predetermined job function.
The DR-1210C has a 35-sheet automatic feeder with a 12-page-per minute scan speed, also making use of a USB 2.0 connection to quickly transfer the images to the computer. It is important to note that the automatic feeder cannot scan both sides of a page at once. In operation, our reviewers felt it made considerable noise. However, the Punch Hole Removal and Text Recognition features produced ideal results. Overall, the DR-1210C will be useful for business with small to medium-sized workloads.
