Scanner Certification and Review
Visioneer 9750 Scanner
Review:
This scanner has seen and continues to see quite a bit of use in the Laserfiche reviewer facility, primarily as a desktop scanner. The form factor for this piece of hardware seems to be a bit smaller than form factors for other flatbed scanners; at least, that is the impression the hardware provides. The paper stop detracts from this small form factor feel, but is really nice to have when paper is being run through the scanner. The scanner proved to be to be very useful, although the OneTouch drivers seem to have a mind of their own as they would load at unexpected times, even when the scanner was not in use. Nothing harmful happened, just a progress bar would appear unexpectedly indicating that drivers for the device’s OneTouch options were loading/configuring.
