Celebrating Women in Tech on International Women’s Day
March 8 is International Women’s Day, and Laserfiche is celebrating by recognizing all the women who work in tech roles.
Laserfiche was founded by Nien-Ling Wacker, a woman who began her career building custom solutions out of her home in the 1970s. She grew her business into a leading global provider of intelligent content management and business process management. Today, she is recognized as a visionary leader and a pioneer in her field.
Wacker, along with countless other women, have made huge contributions to technology throughout history. The team at Laserfiche draws inspiration from those trailblazing women who have driven innovation, challenged the status quo and started movements.
The first International Women’s Day was organized over a century ago, and today celebrates the social, cultural and political achievements of women, as well as acts as a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
On this day, we’re reflecting on the inaugural Women in Tech Summit and MotivateHer Mixer, which took place at Empower 2020. The event brought together women in the Laserfiche community to inspire, educate and celebrate women who drive change in their organization and beyond.
Thank you to the brilliant women who work in technology roles who exemplify our vision at Laserfiche: to inspire people to reimagine how technology can transform lives.
We’ll continue our celebration of inspiring women in tech throughout March, in honor of Women’s History Month. Click here to learn more about some of the talented female leaders who make up our team.
