With hands-on exercises, you’ll go beyond the basics and leverage the new LFForm object to build more sophisticated customized forms with the new form designer. In this course, you’ll learn how to:

• Work with indexed and array fields such as radio buttons, checkboxes, tables, and collections
• Implement best practices for responsive JavaScript, such as working with promises via async functions
• Create common JavaScript solutions such as accessing and working with diverse form element properties, manipulating values, and calling functions based on HTML button clicks

This is an intermediate class! The audience is expected to have existing knowledge of Laserfiche Forms and Business Processes and basic familiarity with JavaScript in either Laserfiche or another application. To maximize class time for challenging concepts, this course will have Laserfiche components, such as forms, pre-configured and move quickly through basic concepts and interfaces, like adding fields to forms.

While the Laserfiche training team is excited to educate on common use cases for JavaScript, please note that individualized assistance with coding will not be offered in this course.

This is a beginner class! The target audience does not have any knowledge of the topic being presented. Designed for new users to get caught up on Laserfiche administration basics, this lab-style instructor-led training will provide the foundations necessary to successfully manage, administer, and troubleshoot your Laserfiche system. Topics covered include repository design, metadata administration, repository security and records management, along with repository and task automation.

All trainings will be taught in Laserfiche Cloud. While most information presented in this training will also be relevant for Laserfiche self-hosted, some class components may not be.
