This enhancement to Smart Fields now allows you to leverage AI to automatically assign the most suitable template to a document before extracting and populating individual field values. This makes end-to-end document processing smoother than ever and enables more flexible, scalable, and streamlined process automation solutions.

In the Repository Web Client, Smart Chat can now answer questions about your own documents and about Laserfiche product documentation – combining the capabilities of the previous “Documents” and “Educational Resources” versions into one.

Connect Laserfiche Cloud directly with external data sources for smoother, faster, more efficient integration across your systems with Direct Database Connections. This new feature gives users the ability to access data that resides outside of Laserfiche and use it throughout the Laserfiche platform in forms, workflows, and business processes. Interact with external databases in real-time using custom SQL queries, ensuring users always have access to the most up-to-date information, without the need for manual data transfers or duplication.
We’ve redesigned the single sign-on and automatic account provisioning configuration experience in Laserfiche Cloud account administration to make it more intuitive: consolidating settings, streamlining setup steps, and adding clearer guidance. This makes it easier to synchronize with external identity providers through either SCIM synchronization or just-in-time account provisioning.
