On Aug. 12, 2016, Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia presented Laserfiche with a Long Beach Business Award. Laserfiche CEO Chris Wacker received the award at the inaugural ceremony, which honored 50 local business leaders for their contributions to the city’s economy, and social and cultural fabric.

“We talk a lot in Long Beach about wanting to be a tech-friendly, tech-forward and 21^st-century city,” Garcia said at the event. “Laserfiche has been leading the way and has been here—it was the first large tech company to come to Long Beach, to invest in Long Beach and to add a significant amount of jobs in the city.”
