Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards Honor Three International Organizations for Business Process Excellence

Each year, Laserfiche recognizes organizations that use Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) to improve productivity, innovate processes and achieve exceptional business results. This year, Laserfiche is pleased to announce that three international organizations have won Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards for reengineering business processes to cut costs and create efficiencies.
“Competing in a global market requires exceptional agility facilitated by efficient business processes,” said Chris Wacker, CEO of Laserfiche. “CSC Bank, Gulf Cable & Electrical Industries Company and Orascom Construction Industries have used Laserfiche to collectively automate, optimize and transform more than 200 business processes, garnering measurable ROI. Congratulations!”
- CSCBank, Beirut—CSCBank provides turnkey electronic payment solutions to 130 banks in 30 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. The bank used Laserfiche to automate 50 different business processes, each encompassing more than 300 activities, all while managing and controlling different levels of security access. The initiative cut printing and filing costs and time spent on document transfer by 50 percent; it also eliminated misplaced documents.
- Gulf Cable & Electrical Industries Company K.S.C.P., Kuwait City, Kuwait—Wire and cable provider Gulf Cable & Electrical Industries Company used Laserfiche to automate 150 business processes, unifying departments that previously maintained their own filing processes and records. The new processes eliminated hundreds of thousands of paper documents annually, enabling staff to use time more productively.
- Orascom Construction, Cairo— Orascom Construction (OC) is a leading global engineering and construction contractor primarily focused on infrastructure, industrial and high-end commercial projects in the Middle East, North Africa, the United States and the Pacific Rim for public and private clients. Orascom implemented Laserfiche to automate the invoice payment process, enable tracking of documents during their lifecycle and unify multiple organizations. The initiative increased efficiency, reduced costs and improved accuracy and accountability.
