May 25, 2007 Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS Take Pride in Role of REALTOR

Downers Grove, IL – The National Association of REALTORSĀ® public awareness campaign promotes its members as the leading advocates for real estate who make the real estate transaction easier and more efficient for consumers. To that end, the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORSĀ® (MORe) in Downers Grove, IL, has made superior customer service their vision, which they have realized through the implementation of Laserfiche, an advanced digital document management system.
āHaving a vision and realizing it is a great feeling,ā says Pam Krieter, CEO for MORe. The organization, which is the fifth largest REALTORĀ® association in the nation, relocated their offices to accommodate their fast growth. They changed their name from REALTORĀ® Association of West/South Suburban Chicagoland to emphasize the continued growth outside the West/South Suburban area. Their next step was to find a solution to help them manage the volumes of paperwork they were generating.
āWe had been pushing forward and growing in our new location and realized that we were outgrowing ourselves again,ā said Margery Shinners, Deputy CEO. āWe had only been in our new space for three years and the thought of needing an offsite storage company was a real cost concern.ā Shinners said that they determined that they needed a system to help them manage the daily volume of documents and paperwork that was generated to serve their 14,000 members but realized their budget limitations. āPCSI provided us with Laserfiche, an electronic document management solution that was implemented on time and under budget,ā said Shinners.
āWe began to see the benefits of this investment almost immediately,ā said Krieter. āWe have addressed our space concern and our staff now have the ability to respond to our member requests in a matter of seconds.ā Director of Membership, Christi Hernandez says, āWhat took us 10 minutes on average, now only takes three clicks.ā
Vince Arden, Owner/Systems Consultant for PCSI says, āThe next step will be to work with MORe to integrate Laserfiche enterprise-wide so that human resources, legal, accounting, and education are all onboard.ā
āOnce we understood that Laserfiche offered so much more intelligence than imaging and that it linked to our association management software, Rapattoni, we knew we had made the right decision,ā said Krieter.
