Laserfiche was recently recognized as a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™: Content Platforms, Q2 2021 report. The independent research firm regularly releases reports like this one to help IT leaders and business professionals make the right decision when choosing business solutions.

In its analysis, Forrester scored the top 14 content platforms on the market based on 25 different criteria. Laserfiche received the highest score possible in the Packaged Applications, Developer Support and Execution Roadmap criteria.

Forrester stated in the report that “Laserfiche continues to adapt its decades of content management knowledge into its SaaS platform, while keeping a focus on its strong community of customers in government, education, and mid-market regulated industries.”

Forrester also stated:

  • “Laserfiche offers strong support for packaged applications and solution templates, and support interchange of these templates via customer and partner communities.”
  • “Reference customers rate [Laserfiche’s] records management, search, forms, and API capabilities highly.”
  • “Consider Laserfiche when you require a SaaS content platform with a well-rounded set of collaborative, transactional, and intelligent content services, and ease-of-use for app design and development tools.”

We believe that these insights from the report demonstrate the appeal of Laserfiche in the current marketplace. In addition, we think the score Laserfiche received in the Execution Roadmap category demonstrates a plan to deliver market leading content platform capabilities.

The score received by Laserfiche in the Packaged Applications category, we believe, reflects its dedication to always innovating with new features. Recently, Laserfiche released new updates to its home dashboard, giving customers increased visibility into processes. These updates included the Process Operational Dashboard, which displays a variety of process metrics and statuses in one summary view. Surveys have also been recently added to the Laserfiche home dashboard. From this view, customers get a summary of survey information and data, as well as the ability to edit or delete both individual submissions and entire surveys.

In addition, we believe the score Laserfiche received in the Developer Support category is well-earned. Laserfiche prides itself in providing extensive support and learning resources for administrators and developers. Laserfiche also released the Laserfiche API, which offers open cross-platform web APIs for developers to quickly incorporate Laserfiche into other enterprise applications.
