WASHINGTON, D.C. (Laserfiche) March 10, 2009—Laserfiche® today announced that it will present Rio, a powerful new enterprise content management (ECM) solution at this year’s Federal Office Systems Exposition (FOSE) for government-IT. The conference will be held March 10-12, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

“As a major supplier of ECM to government organizations, Laserfiche is aligned with the current administration’s E-Government Initiatives that seek to implement electronic principles and best practices to manage IT,” said Laserfiche President and CEO Nien-Ling Wacker. “Rio is a complete ECM system that helps government provide timely and accurate information to citizens and decision makers, while ensuring security and privacy.”

Laserfiche representatives will also demonstrate (booth #823) the Laserfiche-SharePoint® integration, which maximizes the strengths of both systems. While SharePoint adds collaboration portal functionality to Microsoft Office, Laserfiche provides best-in-class document imaging and content management.

In addition, Laserfiche Transparent Records Management, which automates capture, classification and life cycle management with DoD-certified records management functionality which is invisible to users, will be presented to give participants a look at Laserfiche’s capabilities.

Designed for rapid deployment, Laserfiche scales organization-wide and integrates seamlessly with existing applications, such as ESRI, GIS, and others. With more than 2,700 government-sector installations, Laserfiche helps governments run smarter.
