Chris Wacker talks Laserfiche and how the company’s technology is changing the world.

Earlier this week, Chris Wacker, CEO of Laserfiche, was featured on the Huffington Post. The article, titled, “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Became CEO,” touches on Laserfiche’s 30 years of innovation, the role that Wacker plays in the growth of the company and how Laserfiche is changing the world.

Laserfiche was founded on the vision of a paperless office, with Nien-Ling Wacker overseeing the programming and Chris Wacker managing the business side of the company—specifically sales and marketing. Three years ago, Chris Wacker was named CEO and now sets the strategic vision and drives business growth for Laserfiche. Today, over one-third of the U.S. population has access to Laserfiche software and our company has offices in nine locations around the world.

The size of the company isn’t the only thing that has changed; the technology has also transformed over the years.

“The technology we develop evolves constantly, but the vision endures,” says Wacker in the article. “At its core, Laserfiche is about helping people do more of the work that matters. Many often think about business software as something they have to use—I’m constantly inspired by the fact that Laserfiche enables people to make real differences in the world.”
