In his new role, Wayman, who previously served as vice president of asset management since 2015, will be responsible for the company’s strategic direction and global operations. He will continue to report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chris Wacker.
“The executive vice president will play an instrumental role in setting the strategy that will position Laserfiche for future growth,” said Wacker. “Peter has been an integral part of growing Laserfiche into a global leader in ECM software. This expanded role will leverage his broad business knowledge, leadership skills and strategic thinking to integrate our U.S. and international operations as Laserfiche enters an era of accelerated innovation. On behalf of the executive team, we congratulate him on this well-deserved promotion.”
Wayman holds a B.S. degree in physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a M.S in electrical engineering from Columbia University. He joined Laserfiche in 1996, and held various positions in Laserfiche’s development and sales organizations before being promoted to vice president of asset management and professional services. In this role, he led the development and management of the Laserfiche asset management function—including setting corporate strategy for fixed assets management, professional services and consulting, and IT service management.
“The customer has always been at the core of our product development, and that same focus applies in every aspect of operations,” said Wayman. “I’m proud to be a part of Laserfiche’s talented team and excited to help drive the continued operational excellence and success of our company.”
