SAN ANTONIO, TX (Laserfiche)—September 27, 2012—Laserfiche (booth #317) today announced that it will deliver a breakfast session on Sunday, September 30, at 7:30 am at FPA Experience 2012 in San Antonio, TX. The session will explore how financial advisors can use emerging technology to increase profitability even in the face of increasingly complex industry regulations.

“A key emphasis of the Dodd-Frank Act is building more transparency and accountability into the way financial firms operate, and financial advisors who haven’t already done so must start preparing their firms,” said Tim Welsh, Senior Laserfiche Consultant. “By focusing on implementing emerging technology to streamline their business processes and the way they manage client documentation, they will be able to create an agile infrastructure to comply with Dodd-Frank.”

During his presentation, Welsh will outline the benefits of creating composite applications that weave the capabilities of many technology systems—including enterprise content management (ECM), customer relationship management (CRM) and mobile apps—into a single user interface.

“When advisors create composite applications that include Laserfiche ECM as a component, they can easily access documents through whatever system they choose, including CRM and portfolio management, among others,” said Welsh. “This allows them to achieve more with a smaller headcount.”

Conference attendees who attend the breakfast or stop by the Laserfiche booth (#317) will receive a new trend report titled “The Rise of Composite Applications Among RIAs and Broker-Dealers,” which contains real-world examples of composite applications in action.
