LONG BEACH, Calif., July 30, 2020 — Laserfiche — global provider of intelligent content management and business process automation — is  a winner of a People’s Choice Stevie® Award for Favorite New Products in the 18th annual American Business Awards®.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations — public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Winners of the crystal People’s Choice Stevie Awards, as well as all other winners in the 18th ABAs, will be celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony on Aug. 5.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the winners of the People’s Choice Awards. This is truly a testament to Laserfiche’s ability to meet customer needs,” said Laserfiche Director of Strategic Marketing Linda Ding. “We create technology that accelerates how business gets done across industries, reclaiming time for organizations to spend on meaningful tasks across the enterprise. In today’s climate, we’re honored to help companies tackle some of their biggest challenges and guide their digital transformation.”

The People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products are a feature of The ABAs in which the general public can vote for their favorite new products and services of the year. More than 87,000 votes were cast in 52 people’s choice categories this year. All products and services honored in the ABAs’ new product categories were included in people’s choice voting.

More than 3,600 nominations were submitted to this year’s ABAs for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Startup of the Year, among others. Laserfiche received the award for Laserfiche Vault, a solution package of services and cloud-based features designed for the financial services industry.

Laserfiche Vault provides a secure and accurate system of record to support broker-dealers in complying with SEC Rule 17a-4 policies, including strict WORM (write once, read many) standards for retaining electronic records and FINRA audit requirements. Laserfiche Vault can also be leveraged in any highly regulated industry — such as government, education, healthcare and manufacturing.

Key features include:

  • Laserfiche’s proven automated records retention and audit reporting capabilities
  • The ability to enable a “strict compliance mode,” which removes any overrides or bypasses traditionally reinforced through a magnetic WORM device
  • The ability to authorize Laserfiche to act as the designated third-party (D3P) to access content in the event of an audit
  • Cloud deployment offering scalability and agility for when storage needs change
