Laserfiche congratulates the City of Riverside, CA, for being named one of the most advanced digital cities in America by the Center for Digital Government and Digital Communities.

In recent years, Riverside has improved service delivery by expanding records management from a siloed system to one where records can be accessed  cross-departmentally; enabling citizens to submit non-emergency reports through the police department’s online portal; and providing automated electronic bill payments for utilities.

“We’re honored to be recognized as a top digital city, which is a testament to the vision and hard work of our entire team,” said Lea Deesing, Chief Innovation Officer for the City of Riverside. “Technology can build a bridge between government and the citizenry, and we are working to make that happen in Riverside.”

“We applaud Riverside for its commitment to better serving its citizens through its forward-thinking approach to technology,” said Chris Wacker, Laserfiche CEO. “We’re pleased to have contributed to this great city’s success.”

Riverside was selected as one of the most advanced digital cities in its population category (250,000+) based on the results of the 14th annual Digital Cities Survey. Other Laserfiche customers that made the list include: City of Alexandria, VA; City of Augusta, GA; City of Boulder, CO; City of Dublin, OH; City of Evanston, IL; City of Hampton, VA; City of Independence, MO; City of Long Beach, CA; City of Lynchburg, VA; Town of Marana, AZ; City of Oakland, CA; City of Roanoke, VA; City of Santa Monica, CA; City of Springfield, MO; City of Sugar Land, TX; City of Westminster, CO; and City of Winston-Salem, NC.
