Laserfiche congratulates the City of Santa Monica, CA, for being named one of the most advanced digital cities in America by the Center for Digital Government and Digital Communities.
To improve service delivery, Santa Monica has implemented a number of innovative technology initiatives in recent years, including traffic signal synchronization via a fiber-optic network; a mobile application that enables citizens to check for available parking spots in city lots; and a digital document archive that includes millions of pages dating back to the 1920s.
According to Jory Wolf, CIO of the City of Santa Monica, Laserfiche stores digital files and makes them easily searchable on the web. “Laserfiche is easy for the public to use and cost-effective to implement,” he said.
“Santa Monica is committed to using technology to ensure citizen success,” said Chris Wacker, CEO of Laserfiche. “Laserfiche is proud to help this great city achieve its goals.”
