Long Beach, CA – Laserfiche® announced its partnership with Software Connections, LLC, today. This new Laserfiche Professional Developer Partnership Member™ (PDP) from Baton Rouge, LA, has developed a powerful tool called the Laserfiche Connector (LFConnector), a document capture and distribution tool that gives the customer more capabilities. The LFConnector acts as an interface between the user’s eCopy-enabled multifunctional printer or scanner and Laserfiche’s electronic document management system.
Software Connections’ Vice President, John McLain said, “Becoming a PDP member has really increased our product’s exposure to our target audience. One of the main benefits for us is Laserfiche’s new online Marketplace of third-party integrations. This forum allows us to easily achieve maximum exposure of our product to both Laserfiche Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and end-users alike.”
Janette Williams, Solutions Analyst for BMI Systems Corporation, a Laserfiche VAR in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, says she’s been a big fan of Laserfiche since 1999. She says that the LFConnector is a bonus because it is user friendly and doubles scanning capabilities. “One of the nice things that the LFConnector does is it turns copiers — which most companies already have in place — into scan stations. Users can just log on as they normally would and scan directly into Laserfiche and the Laserfiche security follows them.” Williams says that offering the LFConnector has opened more doors for them. “It allows us to provide more options, better service, and quicker solutions.”
The Laserfiche Marketplace is designed for Laserfiche customers who are looking to leverage the customizations, configurations, and integrations that others have already implemented. Software Connections’ LFConnector is one of many other integrated solutions currently posted on the Marketplace. There are also integrations to perform image enablement, electronic forms processing, digital signatures, Email archiving, and meeting management. The Marketplace has several listings for integrated administrative tools as well as a strong integration with geographical information systems. Published by the Laserfiche user community and select Professional Developer Partners, the Marketplace offers integrations, configurations, plug-ins and other integration tools.
