Staff from the City of Lynwood, CA, have set the city’s Run Smarter-award-winning use of Laserfiche to the rhymes and beats of homegrown hip-hop to produce “Run Smarter,” the first-ever Laserfiche rap video. Daniel Baker, administrative analyst for the City of Lynwood, and his fellow staff members (along with cameos from some Laserfiche staff members you may recognize) detail how the city’s use of Laserfiche enables faster, more efficient information services with a sing-a-long chorus that says it all: “’ECM,’ ‘BPM’ – whatever you call it/Easy to use, easy to install it/Laserfiche – Run Smarter/Doin’ more with less – savin’ every dollar.”

Now, Laserfiche invites the rest of our user community to submit their own videos. You can rewrite your version of the original rap, come up with your own song in any genre, create a dance routine or perform a skit—whatever best expresses how you and your organization use Laserfiche to run smarter.

One grand prize winner will receive two free registrations for the 2011 Laserfiche Institute Conference, where their video will be premiered for the Laserfiche community. All participants will receive a Laserfiche gift and will be featured on the Laserfiche Video Channel.

Please send us your original video as a hi-res 1920 x 1080 file on DVD postmarked by November 1, 2010 to:
